The Academic Coaching Program (ACP) provides first-year students with additional support to help them reach their academic goals. Students in ACP work closely with an academic coach to identify academic deficiencies and develop a plan to address success in the classroom. Entrance into ACP is controlled through the Office of Admissions as part of a students’ admission to the University. Students admitted to the University through ACP may enroll as degree seeking, full time students, taking 12 credit hours in the first semester. ACP students will be required to sign an agreement each semester that they are in the program which outlines their requirements for each semester. Students seeking the structured support provided by ACP, who have been regularly admitted in to the University, should contact Learning Assistance Programs and request to be assigned to a staff member to design a College Success Plan.
