Center for Faulkner Studies:sponsors and supports educational, scholarly and public service projects related to the life and work of William Faulkner. Government Publications: the library has been a selective depository for U.S. government publications since 1916 and is a designated depository for Missouri state documents. Rare Book Room: houses the Louis Daniel Brodsky Collection, an internationally acclaimed collection of works by and about William Faulkner, and the Charles Harrison Collection. The Rare Book Room was established as a gift from the Harrison family. Special Collections and Archives: acquires, preserves and makes accessible research materials that document the historical, literary and cultural experience of Southeast Missouri, the Mississippi River Valley region and the history of Southeast Missouri State University. Writing Center: Need help on a writing assignment? Could you use an experienced writing tutor? The Writing Center, located in Kent Library, is for all students – not just for those who struggle with writing. It’s free, so whether you need help on one assignment or you feel the need for weekly conferences, the staff at the Writing Center can help! |
