Why Southeast was my 1st choice...

"My parents insisted that I stay in St. Louis for college.  I was able to convince them to let me move away after visiting Southeast.  We immediately fell in love with the vibrant atmosphere.  Additionally, tuition prices are very reasonable and affordable.  I was really concerned that I would be homesick, but I quickly realized that the University has several ways for students to get involved.  I joined Alpha Xi Delta my freshman year.  The sorority has been a home-away-from-home, and it definitely helped me fit in.  I also joined several other clubs during my time at Southeast:  Towers East Hall Council, Alpha Kappa Psi, Delta Epsilon Chi and APICS.  As a graduating senior, I would recommend Southeast to any prospective student because it was the best four years of my life and I wouldn't trade that for anything!"
