Southeast hosts several events on and off the Southeast campus each year. We invite you to join us for an upcoming event as your schedule permits.

Show Me Day

At Southeast, we know you lead a busy life throughout the week. That is why we have one of the premier Saturday visit programs in the midwest: Show Me Day. Offered on a number of Saturdays throughout the year and on select Mondays, Show Me Day gives you and your family the opportunity to tour our campus, eat in our dining facilities, meet with students, see the residence halls and talk to professors. You can register by contacting the Office of Admissions at (573) 651-2590 or by clicking the Register button to register for a Show Me Day.

Go on a tour of the facilities and lab space and learn about how the College of Ed is creating an EDvolution by using the newest technology in the classroom. Dance Day

Prospective Southeast Missouri State University students interested in majoring in dance are invited to attend Dance Day in the Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts at Southeast's River Campus. The Conservatory of Theatre and Dance will host the event.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. at the River Campus and students will have the opportunity to participate in four free master dance classes, tour the River Campus facility and speak with faculty and current students. Participants also will receive free tickets to the evening performance of Fall for Dance 2016 at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to any students in grades 9-12.

CampRedhawk is a summer leadership camp designed for new students preparing to enter their first semester at Southeast Missouri State University. It will offer an introduction to campus life and traditions, immerse you in school spirit, and introduce you to other new Redhawks. You will become more familiar with campus and the community where you will spend the next four years. Registration will open in early 2017. 

Donald L. Harrison College of Business Open House & Luncheon

Students and their families are invited to attend Southeast's third annual Donald L. Harrison College of Business Luncheon. Prospective business students are invited to learn about Southeast's scholarship opportunities, study abroad programs, entrepreneurship and internship opportunities. Presentations on Social Media and Business, Student Engagement and Internships and Preparing for a Career in the Business World will also be offered by business faculty, students, alumni and staff.

Southeast's Multicultural Showcase

Southeast Showcase is a multicultural recruitment program for students and their families. If you are within our service region, we provide you with transportation from designated locations to and from Cape Girardeau for the event. During Southeast Showcase, you will tour campus with a current Southeast student, eat in the campus dining halls, and learn more about living on campus and becoming an involved student.

River Campus Open House

Bring your dance shoes. Tune your guitar. Practice your singing. Prepare to create a masterpiece. Above all, BRING YOUR AWESOME WITH YOU. Activities run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27th. You'll eat dinner (on us) in the new St. Vincent's Commons overlooking the Mississippi River. It's going to be a busy day, culminating with the dress rehearsal of A Chorus Line. A cast party immediately follows.
