Southeast hosts several events on and off the Southeast campus each year. We invite you to join us for an upcoming event as your schedule permits.

Show Me Day

At Southeast, we know you lead a busy life throughout the week. That is why we have one of the premier Saturday visit programs in the midwest: Show Me Day. Offered on a number of Saturdays throughout the year and on Presidents' Day, Show Me Day gives you and your family the opportunity to tour our campus, eat in our dining facilities, meet with students, see the residence halls and talk to professors. You can register by contacting the Office of Admissions at (573) 651-2590 or by clicking the Register button to register for a Show Me Day.

All Show Me Days begin at 10 a.m. at the Show Me Center.

College of Education Open House

Saturday, March 28, 2015
1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Visit Scully, home of the College of Education, for an Open House and light refreshments. You'll be able to tour the building, see lab space, learn about their use of technology and meet with faculty and current students.

Camp Redhawk

CampRedhawk is a summer leadership camp designed for new students preparing to enter their first semester at Southeast Missouri State University. It will offer an introduction to campus life and traditions, immerse you in school spirit, and introduce you to other new Redhawks. You will become more familiar with campus and the community where you will spend the next four years.

Southeast's Multicultural Showcase

Southeast Showcase is a multicultural recruitment program for students and their families. If you are within our service region, we provide you with transportation from designated locations to and from Cape Girardeau for the event. During Southeast Showcase, you will tour campus with a current Southeast student, eat in the campus dining halls, and learn more about living on campus and becoming an involved student.

Dance Day

2015 Date - TBA

Prospective Southeast Missouri State University students interested in majoring in dance are invited to attend Dance Day 2014 in the Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts at Southeast's River Campus. The Department of Theatre and Dance will host the event.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. at the River Campus and students will have the opportunity to participate in four free master dance classes, tour the River Campus facility and speak with faculty and current students. Participants also will receive free tickets to the evening performance of Fall for Dance 2014 at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to any students in grades 9-12.

Department of Music - A Whole New World Of Music

Are you interested in vocal or instrumental music? At the Department of Music - A Whole New World of Music (prospective music major day), you will learn about our academic programs, meet with students and faculty, tour the River Campus, and audition for admission and scholarships. Donald L. Harrison College of Business Open House & Luncheon

Students and their families are invited to attend Southeast's second annual Donald L. Harrison College of Business Luncheon. Prospective business students are invited to learn about Southeast's scholarship opportunities, study abroad programs, entrepreneurship and internship opportunities. Presentations on Social Media and Business, Student Engagement and Internships and Preparing for a Career in the Business World will also be offered by business faculty, students, alumni and staff.
