James joined the admissions team in August 2011. His territory is St. Louis City, St. Louis North County, East St. Louis in Illinois, Kansas City and Tennessee. He also coordinates Southeat's Multicultural Showcase event in the spring.

A native of Florissant, Missouri, James attended Southeast Missouri State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications. James graduated with his Master’s degree in Higher Education in the summer of 2012.

While at Southeast, James was very involved with his fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma and in Southeast’s chapter of the National Association of Black Journalist. James was also a staff member on the universities newspaper, The Arrow. While here James completed an internship with the Southeast Missourian in the sports department.

While not in the office James enjoys spending time with his family and friends, listening to music and watching movies.
