Admission of Visiting Students

Are you currently enrolled at another college or university, but interested in taking a Southeast class? Southeast welcomes you to take classes as a visiting student at your convenience. “Visiting” student status is granted to students who are in good academic and social standing at their home institution and who are interested in enrolling at Southeast for one semester as a non-degree-seeking student.

Visiting Student Steps to Enrollment

Step 1 - Admission

Complete an Application for Admission (select the "undergraduate transfer" application type), pay the non-refundable $30 application fee, and submit a completed “Statement of Standing Form.”

The application, application fee and “Statement of Standing Form” must be submitted three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.

As a visiting student, please remember that you are considered a non-degree-seeking student and therefore, not eligible for financial aid. Additionally, you are limited to one semester of enrollment at Southeast. If you choose to stay at Southeast at the conclusion of your semester as a visiting student, contact the Office of Admissions. We would be happy to assist you in enrolling as a full-time Southeast student!

Step 2 - Enrollment

Upon admission to Southeast, you may enroll in your chosen course(s) by contacting the Office of the Registrar at (573) 651-2250.
