Each school or college, as well as each regional campus, has an advising center that serves as the central point of contact for students requesting information about academic programs within that area. Athletics Advising and Southeast Online also have central contacts to assist students with questions about eligibility and/or program availability.

These advising contacts assist students and faculty advisors by:

• Clarifying academic requirements and degree planning issues
• Enhancing awareness of educational and support services available at Southeast
• Striving to improve advising services through training opportunities for faculty advisors
• Providing documents that enhance the advising process
• Helping assign and connect students with their faculty advisors
