The mission of the Professional Advising Team (PAT) at Southeast Missouri State University is to provide accurate and appropriate degree information in a timely manner that will lead to enrollment in a schedule of classes that supports the goals of the student while meeting degree requirements.
Membership is open to all staff members who provide academic advising as a key aspect of their job duties. PAT serves as a forum to share information about program changes, process modifications or other issues that impact academic advising. Meetings are held on a monthly basis. PAT also coordinates and implements training events both individually and as requested by the Academic Advising Council (AAC).
