The Southeast Missouri State University Alumni Association presents a number of awards throughout the year to alumni and former students who have brought distinction to themselves in career and community achievement and service.

Nominations are accepted throughout the year for the awards listed below. If you know an alum who has made a difference in their career and community, please consider submitting their name as soon as possible so they may receive the recognition they deserve.

Alumni Merit Award
Nomination Deadline: April 15, 2007
Criteria: Southeast Missouri State University graduates evaluated on professional growth, service to the University and individual character. Awarded yearly at Homecoming.

Young Alumni Merit Award
Nomination Deadline: February 28, 2007
Criteria: Southeast Missouri State University graduates less than 37 years of age evaluated on professional growth, service to the University, and individual character. Awarded yearly at Commencement.

Faculty Merit Award
Nomination Deadline: April 15, 2007
Criteria: Current faculty member evaluated on teaching, professional growth and service. Awarded yearly at Homecoming.

Distinguished Service Award
Nomination Deadline: April 15, 2007
Criteria: Former students, graduates or volunteers evaluated on professional growth, service to the University and individual character. Awarded yearly at Homecoming.

Southeast Salutes Award
Nomination Deadline: February 8, 2007
Criteria: St. Louis-area alumni based upon professional growth, service to the University and individual character. Awarded yearly by the St. Louis Chapter of the Alumni Association.
