Emergency Personnel:

 Athletes will be supervised by proper personnel.
 
 Certified Athletic Trainer either located in Rosengarten Athletic Training Room, or on call for emergencies

Emergency Communication:
 
 Fixed telephone line in the Rosengarten Athletic Training Room 573-651-2858
 Fixed telephone line in the Rosengarten Weight Room 573-651-2847

Emergency Equipment:

Supplies (Cramer Rapid Form Vacuum Splints, spine board, AED) maintained in the Rosengarten Athletic Training room

Roles of First Responders:

1. Immediate care of the injured or ill student-athlete

2. Emergency equipment retrieval

3. Activation of EMS 
   call 911 from any on or off campus phone (provide name, address, telephone number, number of individuals injured, condition of injured, specific directions, and any other requested information)

4. Direct EMS to scene
   
   1. Campus police officer will unlock and open any necessary gates and/or doors
   2. A campus police officer will "flag down" EMS and direct to the scene

Scene Control:  limit personnel on scene to first aid providers and move bystanders away from the area.

Venue Directions: 

The Rosengarten Athletic Weight Room is located on East Greek Drive.  A service road is located at the rear of the Rosengarten building.  Take the road down to the rear of the building, where direct access to the weight room are located.
