Reginald D. Dickson Reginald D. Dickson of St. Louis, Mo., was appointed by Governor Matt Blunt in April 2005 to a six-year term expiring Jan. 1, 2011. He is the chairman, chief executive officer and majority owner of Buford, Dickson, Harper, and Sparrow, Inc., an investment research and portfolio management firm. He is a member of the board of directors for Dollar General Corporation and is chairman of the board of AmSouth Community Development Corporation. Dickson is the retired president and chief executive officer of INROADS, Inc., a national minority career development organization. He is the chairman of the Development Committee of St. Louis Community College Foundation and serves on the boards of the Youth and Family Center and the American Red Cross. He is also active in numerous other civic organizations and has received several awards recognizing his involvement in the community. Dickson graduated from Harris-Stowe Teachers College with a bachelor of arts degree and from Washington University with a bachelor of science degree in business. He also has pursued graduate studies in finance at St. Louis University. |
