BL 255. Legal Environment of Business.
This course examines foundations in law and business relating to regulatory, public and private legal environments, including international and ethical issues. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing. (3)
BL 455. Contracts.
This course examines foundations of common law and statutory regulations governing contractual relationships, emphasizing commerce under the Uniform Commercial Code. Prerequisite: BL 255 with minimum grade of 'C'; junior standing. (3)
BL 563. Law and Business.
A study of legal issues confronting business decision-makers, including negotiable instruments, debtor-creditor relationships, securities regulation and business organizations. Prerequisite: BL255 with a minimum grade of 'C'. (3)
BL 573. Internship in Business Law.
A supervised learning and work experience in law which enhances traditional business law courses. Prerequisites: 60 hours of course credit, including a minimum of 6 hours of law-related course work with a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA; BL255 or its equivalent with a minimum grade of a 'B'. (1-3)
