Warren Skinner joined the Career Linkages team in October 2006. As the assistant director, he works throughout the Southeast Missouri region to find employment opportunities for Southeast students. Prior to joining the University community, Warren served as the manager of business and industry with the Workforce Investment Board of Southeast Missouri. This position allowed Warren the opportunity to learn about various industries, career fields and education and training programs. Warren is excited to use his background and abilities to help Southeast students market themselves to employers.

Originally from the Kansas City area, Warren graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004 with a master of science degree in economic development and planning. He received his bachelor of science degree in workforce training and development from Southern Mississippi in 2002. While at Southern Mississippi, Warren worked as a resident assistant, hall director and graduate school recruiter.
