Amanda Barton Career Advisor Amanda is a Southeast Missouri State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Human Resource Management. While at Southeast, Amanda was involved in the local Human Resource organizations, such as the student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Cape Area Personnel Association (CAPA). In her senior year at Southeast, Amanda gained employment as an intern with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODot), and after graduation moved to Jefferson City to continue her state employment with the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
Still employed by the Department of Economic Development, she is back at Southeast working with students as a career advisor for the Harrison College of Business. She hopes to utilize her knowledge of what employers look for in applicants to assist Southeast students choosing a career field and succeeding in it. |
