How to start your part-time job search on REDConnect

Step 1: Log in and complete your profile in REDConnect
As a current Southeast student, an account has already been created for you and login instructions are provided on the login page once you click the REDConnect link. Once logged in, you will be at your personal student homepage. Be sure to visit your account often as the Office of Career Services will be consistently updating you on upcoming events and providing career fair information.

Step 2: Search Part-Time Jobs
After you have completed your profile, find the section in the right hand column of your student homepage called "One-Click Searches". Click on the link for"Part-Time Jobs within 10 mi of Cape Girardeau".

During your search, you will notice some jobs labeleed with a Redhawk head. These are the jobs that specifically came from an employer in our Southeast network.

Step 3: Create a Resume: Part-Time Job Resume Sample
Many part-time positions posted in REDConnect will require a resume, as will most internships and full-time positions you pursue in the future. Take this opportunity to start your resume EARLY and save it in your profile! You can continuously update it and be ready for when you may need to provide it to an employer.
