The Center is a quality preschool program for children six weeks to six years of age, focused on child development.  The Center for Child Studies is a licensed childcare center with the state of Missouri. We comply with all state licensing guidelines and procedures.

Each classroom is supervised by a master teacher who is experienced with the age group.  All master teachers have master’s degrees in either child development or early childhood education.

The facility also provides University students the opportunity to work with children and to learn principles of child development and early childhood education under the direction of experienced professionals.

Location

The Center for Child Studies is housed on the second floor of the Scully Building on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.  Access is available through the door located at the ramp on the north end of the building.
