The Center for Economic & Business Research publishes a quarterly newsletter that gives basic data for all 24 counties in Southeast’s service region as well as forecasts for the next three quarters. Special data reports are available through the Center. The Center performs economic analyses on a contract basis. Many of these relate to the economic impact of activities on local communities. The center presents public programs on the economic and business climate in Southeast Missouri and commentary through the media on factors influencing the economic and business climate in Southeast Missouri.
The Center for Economic & Business Research is housed in the Donald L. Harrison College of Business on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. Our office is located in Dempster Hall, Room 231.
The 24 counties of our service region include Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Crawford, Dent, Dunklin, Franklin, Gasconade, Iron, Jefferson, Madison, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Perry, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Ste. Genevieve, St. Francois, Stoddard, Washington, and Wayne counties.
