Financial aid awards are offered to students who have been admitted to the CGPHE.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Students interested in applying for financial aid for the 2011-2012 academic year should complete the 2011-2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.govSummer aid can be processed based on a 2010-2011 or 2011-2012 FAFSA.  There is no separate summer session aid application needed. If seeking an Associate of Arts degree, include the Southeast School Code: 002501 and the Three Rivers School Code: 004713. Missouri’s early application deadline is April 1. The FAFSA will still be accepted after this date and qualifying students will be considered for Federal Pell Grant and Federal Direct Student Loans.

Financial aid awards are offered to admitted students. An e-mail is sent to the student’s University-assigned e-mail account as notification that the award package is ready for review. Award notifications are online through the student portal.

Scholarships

Southeast and Three Rivers merit scholarships may not be used at the CGPHE.

Missouri A+ Financial Incentive
High school graduates who meet the Missouri A+ Schools Program guidelines and enroll full-time at the CGPHE as an Associate of Arts degree-seeking student will be considered for the A+ Financial Incentive.

A+ aid for all Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Science (AS) degrees will be processed by Mineral Area College. A+ eligible students who intend to pursue an AAS or AS should contact Dean Whitlow at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center by calling (573) 334-0826.
