Christy LeGrand
Christy LeGrand received her Bachelor of Science in business administration in accounting from Southeast in 1982 and MBA from Southeast in 1992. Her graduate project was a University-Chamber of Commerce joint feasibility study for a business incubator in Cape Girardeau. Most of her career focused on cost accounting in industry. She also worked as an administrator for a federally funded grant program before starting with Southeast in 2004 in grants compliance and transferring to Missouri Research Corporation in the fall 2005 as projects coordinator.
In 2007, she graduated from the Delta Leadership Institue (DLI), the premier networking institute operated by the Delta Regional Authority (DRA), which is designed to create a corps of leaders with a regional and national perspective on economic and social issues in an eight-state region. Recently, LeGrand was honored with the "Spirit of Service"award from the DRA and in September 2009, will serve as the project coordinator for the DLI.
Christy was recently promoted to Assistant Director of Operations for the Center.
