Internships / Practicum Procedures: Find out all about either of these as well as how to proceed.What an Internship is Not: practical advice to understand what an internship should be and what it is not. Internship Agreement: Those of you applying for a student internship should complete the information from "Student's name" to "Campus phone" online; print the entire document and take it with you to your internship/practicum interview with your potential supervisor. The supervisor should complete the form and sign it. You should then sign the form and make an appointment with the Internship Coordinator to turn it in. Possible Internships: This is a partial list of internships that our students in communication/mass media have had in the last year or so. Some of these points of contact may have changed over time, and some of these may not have internship opportunities available now, but this is a starting point. Internship Application: Student Intern Candidates should complete this form online, print it and bring it to the first appointment with the Internship Coordinator. Sample Logs: Here are some examples of logs which the student intern will be writing and submitting via e-mail once a week after the internship/practicum has begun. Supervisor's Internship / Practicum Performance Review Form: The student intern must print this out and give it to his/her internship/practicum supervisor to complete and return it to the Internship Coordinator after the completion of 180 hours. Internship / Practicum Self and Program Evaluation: The student intern must print this out and complete and return it to the Internship Coordinator after the completion of 180 hours.
