Official Letterhead

The University official letterhead is of a standardized design format and is printed on Cougar 70# Smooth Text. Imprinting for colleges is available through Concord Printing. Imprinting for organizations below the college level is not permitted.

Envelopes

Envelopes are printed on Cougar 70# Smooth Text and are available in the styles listed below. Envelopes may be imprinted with department name, mail stop, and index number. The official envelope design may not be deviated from in any manner. 

  • No. 10 for 8.5” x 11” documents

  • 9” x 12”
  • 10” x 13”

Invitations/notecards are printed on Cougar 80# Smooth Text unless 100# Smooth Text is requested (no additional charge). They may be purchased with or without print inside. Three styles are available.

Although the standard size is 4 ¼” x 5 1/2”, other sizes may be requested from Concord.  

Message Sheets

Message sheets are available for intracampus correspondence. Message sheets may be imprinted with an individual’s name, department, mail stop, phone number, and/or email address.

Mailing Label

The use of a mailing label is intended for correspondence that requires large envelopes or packages. The mailing label is a standardized design. Deviation from the standard design is not permitted.

Business Card

Two business card designs are available: horizontal with a red or white back and vertical with a red or white back. Only given names without prefixes (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Dr., etc.) may be used. Suffixes may be added to indicate professional credentials (certification and/or degrees).

Business cards may be printed in quantities of 100, 250, 500, and 1,000. To order business cards, complete the order form and send it to copycenter@semo.edu or MS 7695. Emailed forms do not require a signature.

Deviation from the standardized designs is not permitted.

Name Tag

University Name Tag

The University has a standardized name tag for employees and students.  Only official names, titles, units, etc. may be displayed on the name tag, which may be purchased through Namark Products Company by completing the order form and emailing it to namark@att.net.

Installation Instructions

To save these files to your computer:

  1. Right-click on the link for the template (below the thumbnail image).
  2. Choose to Save Link As.
  3. Save the file to your computer. Take note of the location where you save the file.

To save the above files as Design Templates in Microsoft PowerPoint, take the following steps:

  1. Open the template in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  2. On the File menu, click Save As.
  3. In the File name box, type a name for your template. (The template name should be there, do this only if you want to name it as something else.)
  4. In the Save As Type box, click Design Template.
  5. Click Save.

Then, to use the template for your presentation, take the following steps:

  1. Go to the File menu and choose New.
  2. The Task Pane should appear on the right-side of your screen.
  3. Under the New from Template section, choose General Templates.
  4. The Southeast template you saved earlier should appear in the list under the General tab.
