Beginning Photoshop

Artists, photographers, designers and hobbyists all rely on Adobe Photoshop for graphic design work. If you want to work with graphics, Photoshop is the program you need to learn. Even if you’ve never used a computer for graphics before, this course will teach you how to use Photoshop with simple, detailed step-by-step instructions.

In this three-hour introductory workshop you will learn to: 

• Work with tools & palettes
• Use layers effectively
• Work with blending modes
• Create text
• Use saving techniques

Prerequisite: Basic computer knowledge and experience with basic software programs such as Microsoft Word

Advanced Photoshop

Do you have basic Photoshop skills and want to learn how to use more advanced features when working with this software program? This class will build upon your basic skill level and teach you more tricks of the trade to use when manipulating graphics. Class will be taught with simple, detailed step-by-step instructions.

You will learn to:

• Create special effects
• Use filters
• Work with color adjustments
• Work with masks
• Save images for the web

Prerequisite: Basic computer knowledge and experience using Photoshop  software
