Observe and interperet a piece of art into a floral arrangement. From different works of art, you may choose one to focus on and to create your own floral interpretation. Explore the possibilities of interpereting each piece.

Creative Craft: Carnvial Watch

What can you do with all of the leftover beads, charms and tiny unique found objects you have collected around your craft area? Try making a unique and personal  "Carnival" watch. You can even shop for new beads and distinctive additions too! In this class, you'll learn how to 'mix and mingle' just the right combination of beads and findings to create a one-of-a-kind, eye-catching watch that will surely catch the attention of those around you. Think of how proud you'll be when people ask where you bought it. You'll be able to say, 'I made it myself!'

Everything's Coming Up Roses!

No flowers in bloom? No green thumb? Not a problem. Flowers are all the rage and can be used in so many trendy ways, so let Dee Luetkenhaus of D’Tails – Upcycle Exchange teach you how to make your own fabric flowers. We will demonstrate quick and simple construction techniques as well as allowing you time in class to practice. You will also receive detailed handout to take with you. These projects may not have you smelling like a rose but, whether it’s in your hair, on a pillow or your favorite sweater; you will be absolutely blooming.

Fashion First Aid

Have you ever experienced a fashion disaster? Dee Luetkenhaus of D’Tails – Upcycle Exchange will come to your rescue! In this three-hour workshop Dee will not only teach you the basics of clothing construction and fit but how to keep those fashion-flare up’s from ruining your fashion mojo. Broken zippers, busted buttons and heinous hems will be no match for you after Dee is through! No previous sewing knowledge is required for this introductory class!

Learn to Tile - Mosaic Art Tray

Learn all the basics of tiling by doing a mosaic tile tray.
You will create a unique art piece for your home or garden using stained glass, glass tiles, glass beads, river rocks, shells, etc. Bring your imagination or use a pattern provided. We will design and attach our pieces the 1st class and grout the 2nd class. All supplies included. You may bring your own items to include as well.

Transform Your Grocery Store Bouquet

Transform your grocery store bouquet to a work of art! Learn to alter a simple supermarket bouquet into a stylish floral design. We will incorporate garden flowers or evergreens that are readily available. You will have the flowers, container and materials needed to create your work of art supplied.

Unique Chic: Vintage Fashion for Today

Join us for a vintage fashion and accessories guide through the years, by decade, 1910-1980’s. Each decade will be covered on authentic attire and accessories, and a guide of substitution of newer apparel to achieve the vintage period look of your choice.  At the end of the course you will have a basic knowledge of vintage by decade. You will understand apparel substitutions to give you the vintage decade style of your choice. The most important thing you will learn is to have fun wearing vintage fashion!
