Groovy Stuff

Groovy, Retro Fiber Art. Learn the cool crafts of the 60’s and create unique t-shirts and accessories using tie-dye, wax resist and fabric paint. Create macramé’ bracelets, chokers and belts! Weave a rag rug on a hula-hoop frame. Bring an old pair of faded jeans to spatter paint and decorate!

Junior Zookeepers

How do you take care of a Zoo? Our Junior Zookeeper Program is designed to introduce you to basic zoo keeping including how to feed, clean, and care for animals. Learn about animal behavior, habitats, veterinary care, conservation and more - everything you need to know to become a zookeeper. On the last day of class, families are invited to the Junior Zookeeper Certification. Graduates of the Junior Zookeeper Program at Lazy L Safari Park are eligible to become Junior Volunteers at the Zoo during the Fall of 2013.

Whose Line - Your Line

Whose Line? Your Line? Is a fun, interactive improvisation class. Students will participate in games such as those seen on the television series “Whose Line is it, Anyway?” and other assorted theater warm-up activities. At the end of the week, an informal performance to family and friends in which they can be part of the show!
