Girl Power!

Knowledge is power and mathematical knowledge is girl power! Pack up your Barbie for a thrill ride the day we collect and graph data for Barbie Bungee. Investigate symmetry by taking a short nature walk to discover flower symmetry and then press flowers to make decorative stationary. Learn about geometry through folding cards to make a trinket box which will then be decorated. Finally, we'll learn the geometry and equations of lines through string art and discover how to use similar triangles to indirectly measure trees on a short nature walk.
