From Crime Scene to Corrections

Examine evidence, make an arrest, charge the defendant, set bail and decide the punishment for a convicted offender.

Examine a patrol car, learn how to take fingerprints, how a lie detector works and more!  Learn from actual police officers, attorneys, judges, and probation and parole officers as you look into the real-life experiences of offenders as they’re processed through the criminal justice system.

Cape Girardeau County Jail, Friday

CSI:  Crime Scene Investigation

Are you obsessed with Grissom and the gang? Learn the tricks of the trade including fingerprinting, blood testing, DNA extraction, other
evidence collection techniques and preparing evidence for courts. Then practice your skills and process a “mock” crime scene.
