LITTLE HORIZONS (ages 5-8)
Fossils, Dinosaurs & Lands from Long Ago! (for ages 5-8) Do you ever wonder about the past? Would you like to explore the world of fossils, dinosaurs and ancient civilizations? Explore the past through role playing, music, crafts and other hands-on experiences. We will create our own fossils and imprints and take a virtual field trip to an ancient land! We’ll even go see a prehistoric beast! Field Trip: Bollinger County Museum of Natural History (Marble Hill, Mo.), Friday Instructor: Amanda Malone, MS in Education *Class will meet from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday.
Fun with Clay! Animals, Robots, & Flowers (for ages 5-8) Get ready for some fun in the clay studio! You will enjoy the hands on experience of making art with clay by constructing your favorite animals, robots and flowers. You will decorate your creations with brightly colored glazes. No experience is necessary for this class, just a good imagination! Instructor: Benjie Heu, Dept. of Art
Space and the Galaxy Beyond! (for ages 5-8) To infinity and beyond! We’re sending you on a space mission where you’ll have a blast exploring outer space! Create crafts and discover things you never knew about NASA, stars, the solar system and space exploration.
