Language
Spanish is quickly becoming the second most spoken language in the U.S. If you want to learn the basics of Spanish in a non-threatening and fun atmosphere, then this is the class for you! This class will not go into the depths of Spanish grammar but will introduce you to simple Spanish exchanges. This could be the start of a new skill to add to your resume! More Spanish speakers are arriving in the Cape Girardeau area daily. Start learning Spanish now and you will be able to answer that question that springs to mind when you hear Spanish spoken: “What are they talking about?” April 2-23 Breanna Walling recently completed her master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. She has also attended the University of Kansas, Lawrence and Instituto de Idiomas, Universidade de Santiago de Composteal, Espana. Breanna is currently on staff in the Office of Minority Programs and teaches a Spanish course for the Department of Foreign Languages and Anthropology. |
