Master's Storyteller Workshop Earn Graduate Credit as "Elective in Education" Join us Friday, April 4, 2008, at the Cape Girardeau Storytelling Festival for storytelling workshops that can earn you one hour of graduate credit. The day will begin with Willy Claflin and Sheila Kay Adams on "Ballads, Old Love Songs, and Tuneful Traditions." Then move on to "Finding Your Own Stories...How To Remember and How To Tell So That Listeners Want To Hear!" with Donald Davis. You will end the day with Dan Keding and "The Ghost Story - Boo! - Finding, Researching, and Telling the Ghost and Horror Tale." Each class is two hours long with a break for lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. For optimal interaction and learning, the classes will have a maximum enrollment of 30, so register today to reserve your spot! Date: Friday, April 4, 2008 Time: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Fee: $99 - RPDC members can pay an additional $50 for graduate credit payable the morning of the workshop |
