A growing number of Southeast students are pursuing study abroad as a means to prepare for professional success in an interdependent world. Along the way, students foster their individual personal and intellectual growth, and establish lifelong friendships around the world. This generation of students is committed to the pursuit of productive careers, meaningful lives, and responsible citizenship in a global society. Through study abroad, students advance their awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity, develop intercultural competency, gain new perspectives that enrich their education and help them grow personally.

The faculty of Southeast Missouri State University have developed more than 40 study abroad opportunities for students from all majors and interests. Programs range from short term study tours (14-21 days) to full semester and academic year study opportunities.
