travel & trip details

Southeast Missouri State University will send selected students to Washington, D.C., during spring break week (March 11-16, 2018) to participate in a four-day seminar. They will engage with the scholars and researchers of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and also participate in interactive exercises.

The actual cost of the program is approximately $3,000 per student, however program costs will be defrayed by generous contributions by donors (particularly Mrs. Betty Glenn, the Cape West Rotary and the White Oak Cotton Gin Co.) and scholarships provided by the University President, Provost, Deans and relevant Directors.

(Students will be responsible for the normal fees for the three-hour UI498 course, plus some meals and incidentals, while in D.C.).
