Southeast Missouri State University will send selected students to Washington, D.C., during spring break week (March 11-16, 2018) to participate in a four-day seminar. They will engage with the scholars and researchers of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and also participate in interactive exercises.
The actual cost of the program is approximately $3,000 per student, however program costs will be defrayed by generous contributions by donors (particularly Mrs. Betty Glenn, the Cape West Rotary and the White Oak Cotton Gin Co.) and scholarships provided by the University President, Provost, Deans and relevant Directors.
(Students will be responsible for the normal fees for the three-hour UI498 course, plus some meals and incidentals, while in D.C.).

Tentative Trip Schedule (as of August 2017)
Sunday (March 11): Depart from St. Louis International Airport
Monday (March 12): All day seminar at CSIS with lunch provided. Dinner on your own.
Tuesday (March 13): Half day seminar at CSIS. Lunch and Dinner on your own.
Wednesday (March 14): All day seminar at CSIS with lunch provided. Southeast Alumni Reception in the evening. Dinner on your own.
Thursday (March 15): Half day seminar at CSIS. Lunch and Dinner on your own.
Friday (March 16): Return to St. Louis.
