Performs five times per year under the auspices of the Chartwells Concert Series. The orchestra will continue its tradition of exciting programming from many diverse eras and styles.
The premier wind and percussion ensemble on campus. The Wind Symphony performs the highest level of wind literature, including standard wind band literature and the newest of contemporary literature and performs two to three formal concerts per semester.
Approximately 60 members strong, the Concert Band will perform concerts before spring break in March and another during the end of the semester in April.
The University’s “premier” jazz organization. This exceptionally talented group of students performs both contemporary and historically important jazz literature. The Studio Jazz Ensemble performs three to four times per semester, both on and off campus.

Celebrating musical excellence on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University since 1957, the Golden Eagles Marching Band has thrilled audiences throughout the United States and now abroad! The Golden Eagles performs at all home football games and at various other venues across the state.
Open to all Southeast students by audition and offers performances of transcriptions and original compositions for multiple classical guitars. In addition, guitar majors in the ensemble learn and perform standard chamber music repertoire for classical guitar in a variety of configurations.
A faculty-performing ensemble dedicated to the performance of chamber music from the Baroque period on musical instruments from that era. The Baroque Ensemble frequently tours the Midwest under the auspices of the Missouri Arts Council.
A faculty performing ensemble dedicated to the performance of brass chamber music from all eras. The Faculty Brass Quintet frequently tours the Midwest and often provides the official music for many special events on campus.
A select group of students who perform at Southeast home basketball games, as well as for special University events. The Southeast Show Band is one of the most prestigious and visible musical organizations on campus and generates excitement and enthusiasm everywhere they perform.
