CAP-A is available to first-year students with a minimum 2.80 cumulative high school GPA; successful completion of a designated College Access Partnership Program or Scholarship Organization/Foundation; a letter of recommendation from the Partner Program, Foundation or Organization. The annual value of this award ranges from $500-$1,500
Renewal
This award are not automatically renewed. Renewal of the award is contingent upon availability of funds. Renewal is based on the following
- Minimum 2.75 or higher cumulative Southeast GPA
- Completion of a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester and 24 per academic year
- Filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the March 1st priority processing deadline
- Notify the Educational Access Programs/Academic Support Services of changes to class schedule each semester (ex. Add or drops)
- Return the program contract required each semester
- Submitting 8 week grade reports to Educational Access Programs/Academic Support Services
- Complete monthly online contact forms
- Attend 2 Academic Support Services activities per semester
