Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)
CACREP is the premier body for the accreditation of counseling programs. It verifies that each Counselor Education program prepares students to be effective in a dynamic world and profession. It is imperative that programs explicitly prepare students to be counselors first and counseling specialists second.
