Nominations may be submitted by any Southeast Missouri State University faculty, staff or student. In addition, nominations will be accepted from a member of an organization that has benefited from the public service of a University staff member.
A nomination may be submitted for an individual or a team consisting of two or more eligible employees. Self-nominations are not eligible.
All members of a team must be identified and meet the nomination eligibility requirements. All members of the team should demonstrate extraordinary service and must demonstrate the University’s values and strategic vision.
An individual or team will have achieved an extraordinary and significant accomplishment demonstrated by ongoing sustained service or the completion of a special project or activity during the previous twelve months July 1st through June 30th.
Nominations will be accepted on the Program’s official nomination form sent by electronic mail or hard copy. All nominations will be submitted to the Human Resources Office on behalf of the Recognition Committee. For consideration all nominations must be received in the Human Resources Office by October 19, 2012. The Employee Recognition Committee will review all nominations and make their recommendations to the Executive Team and the President of the University for the final decision by October 29, 2012.
Nomination packets for an individual or team award are comprised of:

- Supporting materials (i.e., observations, specific facts, thank you cards, pictures, articles, etc.).
Nominees must have demonstrated commitment to the University’s mission and vision. The service, project or activity being considered should clearly reflect one or more of the University’s priorities: Academics and Student Experience, People, Communication, Funding and Infrastructure.
All awardees must be in good standing with the University.
