new webinar series in May titled “Marketing Boot Camp.”
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., April 25, 2011 -- The Douglas C. Greene Center for Innovation
and Entrepreneurship (CIE) announces a new webinar series for May titled “Marketing
Three one-hour webinars will explore different aspects of successful marketing strategies for small businesses. Participants can log on to the webinars from the comfort of their home or office computer over their lunch hour. This high-energy, three-part series will be delivered by Elizabeth Shelton, owner of Write Results Marketing in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Shelton will review targeted marketing strategy and advertising tactics to strengthen
and promote a small business’s brand through improved focus and a better understanding
of advertising and social media.
“Marketing Boot Camp will transform your wimpy marketing efforts into a solid strategy with muscle,” Shelton said. “Then you can begin putting it all together by developing an Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy (IMCS) to communicate with your target audience and grow your business.”
The webinars will be delivered from noon to 1 p.m. for three consecutive Tuesdays
in May, according to Gina Harper, project coordinator for the CIE. The webinar dates
and topics are:
May 10 – “Brand Reconnaissance: Refining your Brand”
May 17 – “Advertising Obstacle Course: A Review of the Elements”
May 24 – “Social Media Sharp Shooting:Putting it all Together”
“The access of information over a lunch hour has proven to be successful and useful to the small business owners that we serve,” Harper said. “It’s important for us to provide a time that is convenient and a topic that will help them with the every-day success of their businesses.”
