Services Guide
Facilities Management employs a budget analyst, accounting assistant, and student employees for a number of accounting functions.
Custodial Services
The Custodial Services section consists of 64 custodians: divided between three shifts, who are dedicated to cleaning in the residence halls, auxiliary buildings, and academic buildings.
Fleet Services
Fleet Services includes 3 full-time employees to maintain a fleet of over 185 trucks, cars, trailers, generators, industrial equipment, and buses used throughout campus.
Grounds Services
The Grounds Services section of Facilities Management employs fourteen (14) full-time and up to twenty (20) part-time seasonal employees.
Operations Support
Operations Support personnel include an operations support manager, warehouseman, payroll specialist, inventory clerk, senior clerk, key and lock coordinator, and student employees.
Pest Control
The Facilities Management unit’s mission is to assure that occupants of our buildings and all who come to our campus experience a physical environment that is conducive to a high quality standard of living and learning.
Recycling Program
The recycling program is currently covering approximately 43 buildings on campus, each with one to four recycle pickup areas. There are approximately 160 + recycle bins serviced on campus.
Snow Removal
Facilities Management personnel are responsible for the removal of snow and ice on the campus walks, driveways, handicapped ramps, parking lots, and steps to buildings.
Special Services
Numerous special services are offered by Facilities Management, from tool loans to carpeting installation.
Support Services
The Support Services section of Facilities Management employs six full-time employees who work six days per week to accommodate University operations.
Surplus
Approximately once or twice per year, Support Services coordinates an auction with the State of Missouri to sell all surplus items.
