Resolution 13-1 Use of IDEA in Student Evaluation of Instruction Procedures

WHEREAS:  Faculty Senate Bill 12-A-34, Student Evaluation of Instruction Procedures, includes the language, a summary measure of teaching effectiveness selected by Faculty Senate,  

BE IT RESOLVED THAT:  IDEA “Progress on Relevant Objectives” be utilized as the nationally-normed measure of teaching effectiveness until such time as either (i) a new campus-wide instrument is adopted to evaluate teaching effectiveness or (ii) Faculty Senate selects a different IDEA summary measure of teaching effectiveness.
