The Master of Arts with a major in Secondary Education is designed  to serve the need for advanced study by middle-level, junior, and senior high school teachers.  The program is built upon the model of Teacher as Competent Professional Educator.  the purpose of the degree is to enhance the teaching and organizational ability of the candidate, thus improving classroom instruction and increasing student learning.
