Our Master’s program in Counseling includes a variety of courses, practicum and other training experiences which offer comprehensive preparation for professional practice as a counselor or therapist.

  • Training in counseling skills begins right in the first semester, and a formalized practicum usually begins in the second year.
  • Program facility includes fully functional counseling lab outfitted with audio and visual equipment for student and faculty use.
  • Program offers experiential learning through the student’s practicum and internship opportunities.
  • Program offers 48 credit hours and full-time students may complete the program in two years.
  • CACREP Accredited Community Counseling and School Counseling Programs
  • Missouri DESE Proposed School Counseling Program
  • Missouri DESE Approved Psychological Examiners Program
