Southeast Missouri State University senior Devin Leary-Hanebrink was awarded a scholarship to participate in Mises University, an economics program emphasizing the theories, policies and methods of the Austrian School of Economics. The Harrison College of Business at Southeast Missouri State University is extending an invitation to all in the region who have completed an MBA degree to become a professional member of the MBA Association (MBAA) in Southeast Missouri.The MBA Association is open to anyone who holds an MBA degree, regardless of the university that awarded the degree, said Dr. Ken Heischmidt, director of the MBA program at Southeast Missouri State University.

Dr. Bill Weber, Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance, has immersed himself in research to help the Norway Department of Fisheries determine the appropriate price for licenses to operate salmon farms off the coast of Norway.
