REDHAWK RUMBLE

The College of Business is happy to announce a great opportunity for all business majors - undergraduate and MBA. It is a business competition, aka, “Redhawk Rumble.” Students participate on a four-person team in a Jeopardy/quiz bowl format with electronic scoring and buzzers. Teams can be sponsored by fraternities, sororities, business clubs and associations, or business faculty. The competition is single elimination with cash prizes for 1^st place ($500), 2^nd place ($300), and 3^rd place ($100). Individual team members have the option of keeping their share of the prize money (deposited into their Southeast account) or donating the money to their sponsoring organization.

If a student wants to participate in the “rumble” but cannot put together a four-person team, they should e-mail Dr. Johnson at ggjohnson@semo.edu and he will put a team together for them.

Competitions will be held during Common Hour beginning Wednesday, March 26. Question categories for the competition will be from accounting, marketing, management, information systems, economics, statistics, business law, pom/quant methods, finance and current events. Each game will feature five of these ten question categories.  Registration deadline to enter your team is March 20. Registration forms can be obtained online or from the associate dean in Dempster Hall 241B.
