As you navigate through the various levels of this Web site and become more familiar with us, I believe you will be convinced that the Harrison College of Business provides you with many opportunities to develop a portfolio of experiences that will maximize the return on your higher education investment. In fact, when I talk with students, I often remind them that their biggest challenge is to create a portfolio of activities and accomplishments that maximizes shareholder value, that is, maximizes the return on their investment of time, energy and financial resources.

Your ideal portfolio contains

• a strong academic record,
• active involvement with a student organization,
• completion of an international experience,
• participation in an experience-based learning activity such as an internship or live case study,
• attendance at special presentations by business executives and other practitioners, and
• examples of your best academic work.

To these, we add AACSB accreditation which signals to others that you chose a program that has been rigorously examined against standards that define outstanding business programs internationally. For this reason, we believe we offer business studies today for tomorrow’s business successes. This also explains why we believe that if you experience Southeast, you will experience success.
