Photo of Athletic Training StaffThe Southeast Missouri State University Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) is strongly committed to providing both an excellent academic and clinical education for Athletic Training majors. The ATEP believes that the clinical experiences of a student should supplement a solid, but challenging, Athletic Training core curriculum. The core curriculum is based upon the required subject matter meeting CAATE Standards and with the 5th Edition of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Athletic Training Education Competencies.

The Southeast Missouri State University Athletic Training Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)
