Ronald Williams, Ph.D., CHES Dr. Ronald Williams, Assistant Professor of Health Promotion Dr. Williams teaches a variety of courses in the Health Promotion option of the Health Management degree program. Prior to coming to Southeast, he gained teaching and research experience as a graduate assistant at The University of Alabama. He also has experience working in settings such as strength and conditioning and community wellness. Dr. Williams is a National Commission for Health Education Credentialing Inc. (NCHEC) Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). He is a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD), American Association for Health Education (AAHE), American School Health Association (ASHA), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and Eta Sigma Gamma, the National Health Education Honorary. His research interests include substance abuse prevention, alcohol use among college athletes, and sport-related violence and deviance. Dr. Williams is also an experienced program evaluator who has worked on multiple health promotion and substance abuse prevention programs. . |
