All graduate students in the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation are required to complete a research project. In the Nutrition and Exercise Science program, students may choose a thesis option or complete the research project and an internship.
Currently graduate students are researching a number of topics from exercise testing and bicycling energy expenditure to supplement use by high school athletes and burnout in athletic trainers.
