Horizons Enrichment Center

We are fortunate enough to have degreed staff in our key positions at the Horizons Center.

 

Cindy Schmoll, Director
Cindy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University. She has been the director of Horizons Enrichment Center since 2001. Cindy is on the board of the Community Caring Council and is an active CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate for children) volunteer. She also has been involved with the Safe House for Women, holding the position of legal advocate prior to coming to Horizons, and still serves as a crisis advocate when needed.

Completion of Master's in Management in Public Administration, MPA – 2008 

  Cara Glueck, Assistant Director
Cara has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Studies from Southeast Missouri State University with a minor in Child Studies. Cara worked with the A.P.P.L.E. Project and the New Vision Counseling Center prior to graduation and coming to Horizons. She has been with Horizons since 2003.
  Crystal Honey
Crystal has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Studies from Southeast Missouri State University with a a minor in Communication Disorders. Crystal completed her internships at the Community Counseling Center, wher she provided client care and guidance with the Intensive In-Home Services Program.  She has been with Horizons since August 2008.
  Linda Shirrell, LPN
Linda has 17 years experience working with the developmentally challenged population. Prior to coming to Horizons, Linda was the charge nurse at Chateau Girardeau Health Care Center and the Maple Crest Manor Residential Care Facility here in Cape Girardeau. Linda is very active in her church and we are fortunate to have had Linda on staff at Horizons for the past four years.
