Community Service Programs

Child Care Resource and Referral and Workshop on Wheels: A community service that works with parents, child care providers, businesses and community organizations to help promote the availability of quality child care services in the area.

Educare: Implements various family and child care provider programs that strive to make the early childhood years the best learning years possible, to prepare children for school and the future and to empower parents and child care providers to be the best teachers they can be.

First Steps System Point of Entry (SPOE): serves as the entry point for children birth to age three with developmental delays or disabilities.

Hoover Eldercare Center: Providing adult day care and educational services to senior adults over the age of 60.

Early Childhood Centers for Training, Research & Education:  a unique professional team dedicated to academic excellence through high quality child care and education, student training, research and professional education.  We are here to serve students, families, faculty and staff throughout the community and the region.

University Child Development Center - Sikeston: Full-day childcare and preschool center.
University Child Enrichment Center: Our mission is to promote access to higher education through provision of affordable, accessible, quality developmental childcare for university parents and grandparents.
Center for Child Studies: The Center for Child Studies is an early childhood laboratory program within the Department of Human Environmental Studies.  The Center is housed on the second floor of the Scully Building on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
A.P.P.L.E. Project : Helping Senior adults with Applications, Personal Papers, Legal and Environmental paperwork
Horizons Enrichment Center : designed to encourage independence and community interaction for individuals with special needs who are currently cared for at home or in an assisted living situation. This program provides supportive programming each day by teaching basic life skill lessons, offering a variety of services and providing the opportunity for participants to access community facilities and events.
