Michelle Brune, Ph.D., M.S.A., B.S. is a Professor and has been teaching in the Interior Design Program for 11 years. Her professional work experience includes 4 years of experience as a Building Maintenance Manager and Project Manager at Facilities Management at Southeast Missouri State University. She teaches DS104: Exploring Interior Design; DS 220: Design Communications; DS 330: Lighting & Electrical Systems; DS 410 Hospitality Design; DS 412: Contract Design; DS 451: Professional Practice in Interior Design II; DS 618: Environmental Design in Human Services; DS 620: Design Studio; UI 340: Housing Perspectives; and UI 401: American Cultural Landscapes. She also serves as curriculum coordinator and supervises student internships and graduate student thesis and creative projects.
